There are lots of ways to support us with fundraising! You could support us through your company, by shopping online or by holding a fundraising event. If you would like to support us, please get in touch – we would love to hear from you!
Easyfundraising
You can support KIFAD UK by doing your online shopping via www.easyfundraising.org.uk. When you use easyfundraising to shop with any of their 4,000 retailers, the retailer makes a small donation to say thank you which comes direct to KIFAD UK.
Schools
Perhaps your school would like to find out more about our work in Uganda? We would be delighted to come and give an assembly or a short talk, and in return your school might like to fundraising a little for us, perhaps with a cake sale or other small event. If you work for a school and would like to talk to us about your fairs or charity of the year opportunities, please get in touch!
Personal challenges
- In March 2015 three KIFAD UK trustees and three supporters took part in the Maidstone charity abseil organised by the KMCharity team. Through joint fundraising effort KIFAD UK managed to raise a total of £931.06. This was a thrilling (and slightly scary!) activity and we would welcome the chance to do something similar soon. - In November 2015, Gareth Williams completed a half marathon for KIFAD UK. Gareth had spent some time volunteering with KIFAD in uganda and so he knows the importance of the money he was raising.
“It was a really wet and windy day, but I kept going with thoughts of Ugandan sunshine.
I was a little slower than I’d hoped because of a knee problem in the last few miles but I made it around the full marathon course and I really hope that the money raised helps KIFAD to develop its mission to have a state of the art HIV Support Centre to serve its local community.

Niche Market Luxembourg
In 2015 KIFAD UK was invited to become the charity partner of Niche Market, a small non-profit organisation which has provided a platform for creative entrepreneurs in Luxembourg. Including participation and sales donations, raffles and competitions, the markets raised €3000 for KIFAD UK between 2015 and 2018. Thank you so much to Niche Market for this creative and successful partnership!
Second hand sale at The Little Gym, Luxembourg
In October 2014, The Little Gym Luxembourg kindly allowed Abby to hold a 7 day second-hand fundraising sale at its premises. Together with a raffle, a Buy a Brick competition and kind donations from three local businesses, the sale of donated clothes, toys and books raised a fantastic €5000 for KIFAD UK.
